The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry...

In the wee small hours of a stormy morning Jim and I set out to get to this location. No small journey I have to say.

On arrival we discovered that the sea wall was being renovated and was covered with scaffolding. To say that we were gutted is an understatement.

We retreated a little way along the shore to a place of shelter which afforded this view at least. Conditions were perfect but sadly the location on this occasion was not.
