Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020
Commended in the “Your View” category.
It’s been an odd year with Covid-19 restrictions and all but I haven’t been getting out as much as I should to take pictures.
As a result I ended up browsing through some of my older images for this years entry.
This was an image I took back in 2016, the same night as the one which won the Outdoor Guide prize in the same year.
The original image I produced included some colourful light painting done with a Pixelstick but I thought that might be a bit too much for the judges so I entered the image without the light painting.
It would appear it was the right decision because it was commended and will appear in the book again.
I still prefer the original but I’m not going to complain about another commendation.
