Derwent
4th February 2018
Every now and again I go through a photographic dry patch. It might be that I’m just not taking many pictures or I‘m just not taking pictures that fit in on this site.
Sometimes it takes a call from a friend to get me out of the door, even after a difficult week and these unplanned sort of trips can often break a dry cycle.
Jim and I stayed around the Keswick area on this trip, starting at Castlerigg which was a little lack lustre, moving down onto Derwent Water which was beautifully calm and then heading back to the Carles for the sunset.
A good day out and a nice appetiser for my annual trip to Edinburgh.
